Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer from Newark, New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. Their parents include gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard), and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick is also a singer. In her early years she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. By the time she turned 15, Houston had sung professionally backing vocals with her mother on Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. She went on to provide backing vocals for Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her own mother and did a brief stint as a model appearing on the cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. In 1981, she began singing with New York's funk band Material. The band's excellent vocals in this band that attracted the attention of record companies including Arista. Whitney Houston, her debut album, released in 1985 was the highest-selling album for the debut artist. Singles such as The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Can I Tell If You Give Love and Saving the Day and All My Love were all released on the album. These songs helped Houston to achieve 7 US top tens, which surpassed even those of The Beatles. It sold three million copies its first year, as well as 25 million around the world. The album won her first six Grammy Awards. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to build on the success of her debut album. Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz in the way she's commonly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political reporter. She has produced shows for the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Bash's awards and recognitions include being named to the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. A lot of young journalists praise her for having incredible reporting/anchoring abilities. The George Washington University grad is the most loving mom to her single child. She has got married twice. She's currently unmarried. Bash has a love for her followers with all of her heart.
