Zoe Saldana, born June 19, 1978, was the daughter of Asalia Nazario along with Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican while her mother is Puerto Rican. Her family was raised by her mother who lived in Queens. After she turned 10 years old, older her family and she relocated towards the Dominican Republic, where they lived for the next seven years. Zoe was able to establish an interest in performance dancing while she was living in Dominican Republic.
