Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Her father hails from Britain, while her mother is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at her job. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials.
